Day three and three guests! (Part 1)

What an interesting morning! We started the day by looking again at the story of the Camelephantelopelicanary, thinking about the different animals and turning it into our own words. Although we didn’t spend a long time on it, as our first guest arrived at 10:00am.

The first guest was Mr Thomas, the owner of the business of Mr S. He started by telling us how when he was younger he always wanted to a be a Police officer. Although the problem was, his behaviour in school was not always what it should be. Mr Thomas recognised he didn’t always make good choices and he stressed to the children that they should think carefully about all the decisions they make as it could effect the rest of their life’s. Mr Thomas is a successful determined business man, who has proven that if you work hard you can make a difference.

Our second visitor of the morning, was Claire the Dental Hygienist / Therapist. She clearly loves her job and loves meeting new people to work with. Claire told us how hard she had to work in school, college and then a hospital in Cardiff where she studied further. She told us about her life with teeth. She made it clear how much she loved her job and kept stressing how hard she had to work to get there. Claire told us that not only are your teeth important but so are your ears! She stressed the importance of listening to your teachers and learning from their experiences.
